The simulator in Lumio's lab has come loose and the year is out of order. Six missions to put the weather, the water and the seasons back where they belong.
Real science underneath, a dragon on top. Nine sheets, one afternoon.
The six missions
- Find today's weather — three reports, one garden, one date. Only one card is really about today.
- Wake up the cloud — put the water journey in order: vapour, drops, rain.
- Put the year back together — spring, summer, fall, winter, then spring again.
- Today, or many years? — the difference between the weather outside and the climate around it.
- Steer the cloud home — read wind directions on a grid, square by square.
- A Year of Surprises — name the restarted year, then the award.
The guide is honest about its own models: the simulator is fiction, and real seasons come from Earth's tilt as it orbits. It cites NASA Space Place, NOAA, USGS and the National Weather Service, so you can go further if your child asks.
Three routes, one story
Every adventure ships with three routes — ages 6–8, 9–10 and 11–12 — that share the same characters and the same ending. You print one route, not all three. Choose by reading confidence, not birthday.
Pointing counts. Saying it out loud counts. Drawing it counts. A grown-up can read the page aloud or write the answer down, and the adventure carries on exactly the same. There is no score, no timer and no ranking.
What is in your download
- The adventure — four files: A4 and US Letter, each in Colour and Low Ink. All three routes are inside every file.
- Start Here guide — A4 and US Letter, with the print list for each route and every answer.
- Team Hero Certificate — A4 and US Letter. Everyone earns the same one.
Low Ink uses outline artwork. No puzzle anywhere depends on colour.
