The map changed overnight and the landmarks no longer line up. Six missions to read the island from above, measure it in shell steps and work out where the first treasure really sits.

The one adventure that asks your child to picture a place from a different point of view.

The six missions

  • See the island from above — turn a hilltop sketch into a plan seen straight down.
  • Which way is the cove? — a rotated compass moves where north sits on the paper, but not where the cove is.
  • The giant's footsteps — measure three paths in shell steps with a printed ruler.
  • What can Kiko see? — she faces down the plan, so left and right swap over.
  • Plan the best expedition — four trails, several rules, one trail that satisfies all of them.
  • Complete the lost map — every earlier clue applies at once, and one site survives them all.

The finale reveals the Golden Island Compass. A circle, an X, a pointed finger or a spoken answer all count as finding it.

Three routes, one story

Every adventure ships with three routes — ages 6–8, 9–10 and 11–12 — that share the same characters and the same ending. You print one route, not all three. Choose by reading confidence, not birthday.

Pointing counts. Saying it out loud counts. Drawing it counts. A grown-up can read the page aloud or write the answer down, and the adventure carries on exactly the same. There is no score, no timer and no ranking.

What is in your download

  • The adventure — four files: A4 and US Letter, each in Colour and Low Ink. All three routes are inside every file.
  • Start Here guide — A4 and US Letter, with the print list for each route and every answer.
  • Explorer Map — A4 and US Letter, in Colour and Low Ink. A souvenir; names and dates are optional.

Low Ink uses outline artwork. No puzzle anywhere depends on colour.

Before you buy

  • Ages — 6–8, 9–10 and 11–12 — three routes, one island, one treasure
  • Complexity — Moderate. Spatial rather than verbal — it suits a child who likes maps and plans over reading.
  • Sheets to print — 8 per route (+1 optional cover)
  • Time — Not measured yet. We would rather leave this blank than print a number we have not tested.
  • You need — A printer and a pencil; an eraser helps. No real ruler, no cutting, no colour recognition.
  • Your part — Read aloud, check one condition together, or show the answer and explain why it fits.
  • Language — English
  • Bonus included — Explorer Map — a souvenir keepsake, not another mission

Digital PDF download to print at home — nothing is posted to you. Files arrive by email straight after checkout.
